Dungeon Master

Using Adobe Photoshop CS6, I digitally painted this illustration for a short story, “The Dungeon Master,” by Sam Lipsyte. The fiction, short story was published in the New Yorker on October 4, 2010. My illustration depicts the part of the story where the game’s character, Valium, bravely faces the dragon, but is tragically engulfed in the dragon’s massive flames.
